Population figures refer to mean population. The inpatient care includes inpatient care provided by both public sector (municipalities, joint municipal authorities and the state) and private sector. 'Somatic' implies that psychiatric hospitals are not included. 'Specialised' implies that inpatient units at a health centre are not included, with the exception of specialist-led inpatient units at a health centre. Hospital care also includes deliveries.
