The indicator shows the number of residents in service housing and supported accommodation for young people (aged 16 to 21) funded by the municipality on 31 December. Only those residents in service housing who receive regular daily home services or daily attention and residents in supported accommodation that need the care of a support person are included. Family members are not included. Both service housing and supported accommodation can be provided in connection with an institution, in residential homes or assisted living facilities, or in individual flats. Supported accommodation means that the client both has a permanent residence and receives services essentially associated with it that promote his or her coping in daily life (for example, home help, personal hygiene services...
