Care days includes the care days for all clients during the statistical year. The number of care days is obtained as a difference between the date of discharge (or 31 Dec, if the care continues through to the next year) and the date of admission (or 1 Jan, if the client has been in care the previous year). The figures include services provided by municipalities, joint municipal boards and private service providers.
