    The indicator gives the number coronary disease events in people aged 35-79 years per 100 000 persons of the same age. To improve the comparability of data, the results have been standardised for age. The lower age limit was set at 35 years because the number of coronary disease events is small before that age.Coronary disease events include events recorded in the Care Register for Health Care by using the ICD-10 codes I20.0 and I21.I22 as well as events recorded in the Causes of Death Register by using the codes I20-I25, I46, R96 and R98. The ICD-9 codes used in 1992-1995 were: 410-414, 798, excluding 7980A.
