    Luontotietojärjestelmässä voi tutustua Helsingin monipuoliseen luontoon. Järjestelmän keskeisimpiä luontoaineistoja ovat luonnonsuojelukohteet, arvokkaat kasvisto- ja kasvillisuuskohteet, linnustollisesti arvokkaat kohteet, arvokkaat geologiset kohteet, tärkeät lepakkoalueet, kääpäkohteet ja arvokkaat metsäluonnon monimuotoisuuskohteet. Palvelusta on yleisöversio ja virkaversio. Yleisöversion tietosisältöä on suodatettu luonnonsuojelusyistä. Virkaversiota käytetään kaupungin sisäisissä suunnittelu- ja tutkimustarkoituksissa. Helsingin Luontotietojärjestelmän avoimena datana julkaistava aineisto koostuu seuraavista WFS-rajapinnan tasoista, jotka on ryhmitelty rauhoitettuihin / rauhoitettaviin kohteisiin, arvokkaisiin luontokohteisiin, vesistöaineistoihin ja muuhun luontotietooon....
