The indicator gives the permanent swedish-speaking resident population (males and females combined) of a municipality on the last day of the year. Those who according to the Population Information System are domiciled in Finland at the end of the year belong to the permanent resident population whatever their nationality, as do Finnish nationals temporarily residing abroad.
