Institutional care for people with intellectual disabilities mainly refers to care provided in so-called central institutions. This also includes other institutional units intended for people with intellectual disabilities, excluding group homes and other housing services, even if they have staff available 24 hours a day.Care days includes the care days for all clients during the statistical year.
