Aineisto kattaa Liikenneviraston ylläpitämän maantieverkon. Niiden osuuksien pituus, joilla näkemäpituus ylittää 150 metriä summataan yhteen tieosan puitteissa ja lasketaan montako prosenttia summa on tieosan koko pituudesta. Vastaavasti lasketaan 300 ja 460 metriä ylittävien näkemien prosenttiosuudet. Varsinaiset mittaustulokset löytyvät tietolajilta 113.
