Datasættet indeholder forbindelsen mellem et vejnavn og den tilhørende vejkode. Vejkoder anvendes i stor udstrækning i diverse offentlige datasæt, da de fylder mindre end vejnavnet, og et vejnavn staves måske fejagtigt. F.eks. Bauta Vej i stedet for Bautavej. Datasættet er specielt relevant i.f.m. øvrige datasæt på ODAA som eksempelvis BBR- og CVR data.
